The Century Council is a national not-for-profit organization, funded by America's leading distillers and dedicated to fighting drunk driving, underage drinking and to promoting responsible decision-making regarding beverage alcohol.
Since 1991, The Council's funding companies have invested close to $175 million in programs that fight against the misuse of their products.
The Century Council is headquartered in Washington, DC and is chaired by the Honorable Susan Molinari. The President and CEO is Ralph S. Blackman.
An independent Advisory Board comprised of distinguished leaders in business, government, education, medicine and other relevant disciplines assist The Council in development of programs and policies.
The Century Council, operating on the philosophy that collective action can have a greater impact than individual efforts, involves all sectors of the community in the fight against drunk driving and underage drinking including beverage alcohol wholesalers and retailers, law enforcement, public officials, educators, insurers, health care professionals and private citizen organizations.
