About Alcohol 101+

First Year

This segment focuses primarily on two new roommates in the first year residence hall (dorm). These two are just getting acquainted, and some initial peer pressure is obvious between them when one wants the other to join her in drinking.

The overall aim of this segment is to provide first year students with additional perspectives and tools that may be helpful during the first year transitional process.

It introduces issues about college rules and consequences for breaking these regulations. This segment of Alcohol 101 Plus emphasizes that a freshman should feel OK choosing NOT to drink.
